The Exiles film program aims to give a concentrated focus on the urgent situation for “paperless” and asylum seekers, as well as on the refugee policies in current time.
A compilation of short films is divided in two groups, where the films will run subsequently. The first consists of six short documentaries, the second of five artistic short films. Both programmes will be shown twice at announced hours. Further more we present several longer documentaries at specific hours (see the program for a full overview).
The Exiles film program is curated by the artists Andrea Lange and Mona Bentzen, with practical assistance by the artist Marit Ødegaard and by Ole Petter Bakken at Cinemateket in Bergen.
The screenings are done in collaboration with Cinemateket in Bergen.
The curators wish to thank all the participating artist and filmmakers for their engaged contribution, both to this program and to the cause in general.
