Born in Oslo. Educated at the Art Academy of Bergen Art College and Volda College, journalism & media (Film, TV, animation). Participated in separate and group exhibitions / Views nationally and internationally in galleries and at festivals.
Asylum rhetoric
Is a text project based on the rhetoric used in refusal letters to asylum seekers, politician statements and examples from the Black Book on Norwegian asylum policy by Rune Berglund Steen. The project will be displayed inside the Kunsthallen and other public spaces inside and outside. The sound project will be based on interviews with deported Afghan asylum seekers in Kabul and on a new flight via telephone, skype and direct meetings.
